Have you got a project you’ve not recorded with me? If you’re sitting on a fantastic single, EP or album then don’t “throw it away” by:
- Mixing or mastering it yourself (unless it’s just a quick demo or reference for your band or a studio).
- Using a low cost engineer or a friend “who can do it cheaper”.
- Using online algorithm based ‘robot mastering’ software. Well marketed but poor results. Designed for amateurs. These are like the fast food versions in the music industry
Gives your project a final polish to make things sound bigger, better, richer and reach industry standard loudness for physical and online releases, where low end, mids and highs are all sounding balanced and pleasant for the ear. For mastering I also use analogue gear & digital processing to get the best of both worlds and do what’s best for your project. Once finished mastering, you get one more revision and have the option to make changes. Just to make it clear, it doesn’t include rerecording an instrument or vocal for example. But I’ll do anything to make sure you’re happy with the results.
